In classic Adapter form, the Carbon Scraper notch is ideally suited to receive a sturdy two-piece SureFire Rifle/Pistol Brushes. The Adapter Carbon Scraper’s notch is “stepped” in four places, and filled with solvent to cover any cleaning solvent that isn’t fully consumed during the cleaning process. In a pinch, the Adapter Carbon Scraper Brush might just do the job, depending on your needs. The result is an amazingly handy, highly useful tool for clearing firearms of all descriptions, including pistols, shotguns, and pistol clip types. Before you do anything else, you’ll need to get the SureFire Adapter Carbon Scraper Brush. Once you get it, you’ll probably find that it’s a good part of your regular gun cleaning kit. Fill the Adapter Carbon Scraper’s orange anodized aluminum housing and Adapter Carbon Scraper Brush. The Adapter Carbon Scraper Brush is a two-piece Adapter tool that you screw onto your cleaning gun’s receiver. This threaded retaining wrench features a set of five clamps to hold the tool securely in place. Then, using the four clamps, slide the corresponding rear sling toward the front of the gun where the sling rests and push the brush/scrubber firmly in place, then slide the Adapter Carbon Scraper to clear debris out of the locking lugs. Once you’ve finished cleaning your gun, rinse it with plenty of running tap and dry it out with a tumbler or dry towel to dry it all out.
